Alex Butwick

Dr. Alex Butwick is an Instructor of Anesthesia at the Stanford University School of Medicine and is a member of the Obstetric Anesthesia faculty. He graduated from the University of London (MBBS, FRCA), and received the Gertie Marx Award from the Society of Obstetric Anesthesiologists and Perinatologists (SOAP) in 2006.

Dr. Butwick notes, "[The] 10 articles I selected are all important but in particular are recent. These are not my 10 most important OB articles of all time. There are too many for this to be made possible.
